Elettra Venosa received the "Laurea" (BS/MS) degree (summa cum laude) in  Electrical Engineering  in January 2007 from Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli, Aversa (Ce), Italy. From January  2007 to November 2007 she was a researcher at the National Inter-University Consortium for  Telecommunications, Department of Information Engineering at Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli.  In  November 2007, she  joined  a PhD  program  in Electrical Engineering at Seconda  Università degli Studi di Napoli. From April 2009 to September 2009 she has been a visiting scholar at Communications and  Signal Processing Laboratory (CSPL) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at  Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, USA where she worked on Sparse Sampling Techniques for  Software Defined Radio Receivers. Currently, she is working on Multirate Signal Processing for  Software Defined Radios in the Department of Electrical Engineering at  San Diego State  University, San Diego, CA, USA. Her research interests are in the areas of Cognitive and Software  Defined Radios, Sparse Sampling Techniques and OFDM.
